

Audiomartini is a one-hour radio interview show hosted by Rick Wood. For the past ten years, Rick has produced a show on WEBR radio in the Washington, D.C., area. MUFON Radio deals with extraordinary claims from a skeptic's viewpoint. Rick hosts debates as well as individual interviews, with no call-ins, allowing for in-depth discussions. The focus is on a fair and cordial exchange of information, even those with whom he disagrees.
Rick has interviewed and exposed Holocaust deniers, phony mediums, and others making spurious claims in the field of paranormal research. His shows have also addressed pressing social and political topics. Recent guests have included Rep. Bob Filner (D-51-CA), the only historian of science in the U.S. Congress; science journalist Chris Mooney, author of “The Republican War on Science”; and he has hosted a debate between Michael Shermer, executive director of the Skeptic Society and William Dembski, senior fellow of the Discovery Institute, on Intelligent Design
Rick is a resident and native of Virginia with a long-time interest in science and the paranormal. He is a member of the Association For Skeptical Enquiry and a regular attendee of programs in the American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion. Rick has been published by the Committee for Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal, as well as BadPsychics and has been featured in numerous articles regarding paranormal and religious subject matter.
